Our Tuition Structure

Tuition covers about 80 percent of the cost of educating a student at Greenwood Friends. Tuition income is supplemented by an Annual Giving campaign, parent-assisted fundraisers, grants from Quaker and other sources, donations, and help from the school's nascent endowment fund.

Tuition charges vary by level: the rate rises incrementally from preschool to primary and intermediate levels (grades K-5) to middle school. At the preschool level, the charge is calculated per half-day session. At all other levels, it is an annual charge. For families with more than one child above preschool, a tuition reduction is offered for all but the first child.

The school seeks to assure the presence of children from all backgrounds and income levels. We offer varying levels of tuition assistance beginning at the kindergarten level, and encourage any family for whom tuition is a burden to apply for assistance.
