Kathy HaubertKathy Haubert is in her second year of teaching Spanish to GFS students. Kathy was very excited to get back in the classroom after taking a few years off to be with her young sons Tyler and Matthew. The Hauberts have been members of the Greenwood family since 2001, when Tyler started preschool. Kathy is grateful to be able to share her sons' school experience, as both are part of the Primary Team this year. Kathy holds her teaching degree in Spanish and English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her M.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College. She has spent time living overseas and has taught in Spain and Colombia, in New Jersey and Danville, and at Bloomsburg University. She is married to Frank, with whom she helps parent Jason, a finance major at Millersville University, and Jeremiah, a hotel management major at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kathy and Frank are in the business of renovating properties to be rented. Kathy serves as a director for the Central Columbia School District. She loves to travel with her family, dance to merengue music, read anything, and be a mom. She also teaches her sons how to care for their horses and stays active in her local church. --Last updated 05-Sep-2006. |
