Middle School -- Shelly Mato |
Read this week's class news.
Shelly teaches language arts and social studies at Greenwood Friends Middle School and is lead teacher on the Middle School Team. She also serves as Greenwood's curriculum coordinator. This is Shelly's tenth year at GFS.
Shelly comes from a family of teachers, including her parents, all of her siblings, and her husband Scott.
Shelly holds degrees from Franklin and Marshall College and Carnegie-Mellon University, and has her teaching certificate through Saint Michael's College in Vermont.
Shelly spends her non-teaching time in Riverside with Scott and their three children, Samuel, Emily, and Michael. She enjoys hiking, sewing, and of course, reading.
