Sheila Lunger
Sheila has headed Greenwood Friends School since 1989.
Birding, camping, and traveling to and from Philadelphia help Sheila stay busy. Helping husband Norman keep up the 125-year-old farmhouse built by his paternal great-grandparents also helps fill in the down time.
Sheila and Norman value time with their children, all of them Greenwood graduates: Tobias, who lives in Clarkstown and works for Construction Specialities; Kate, who lives with seven-year-old Ameer in Philadelphia and works for Philadelphia Community Court; and Steve, who works in the mental health field in Philadelphia and breakdances in many venues. Grandson Ameer is a student at Lansdowne Friends School.
Norman writes and edits history and social studies texts and materials. He serves on the school's Finance and Technology Committees.
Sheila serves on the boards of Lansdowne Friends School and the Bloomsburg Area Community Disputes Resolution.
