Susan Rockwood
Susan took over the library skills classes in 2000. She also serves as technology advisor to the GFS staff.
A member of the school's board of trustees, Susan is a member of the Millville Meeting and a school parent. Her belief in the school's mission led her to become involved as head of fundraising and the library committee even before joining the board.
Susan and her husband Bruce moved to Pennsylvania in 1985 from Massachusetts, where Susan was director of a large law firm library. A former English major who enjoys computers, sci-fi, and a good debate, she married a dedicated teacher whose parents were also a teacher/librarian combination. She likes to tease her children that they have only those two career paths open.
When not spending summer time in Maine, Susan lives in Bloomsburg with her husband, sons Nathaniel, Alexander, and Corwin, various pets, several computers, and an ever-growing collection of books. From time to time, the relative merits of dining vs. library space is hotly debated.
