The Admissions Process in Kindergarten, Elementary, and Middle School: A Checklist

Family contacts Greenwood to inquire about admission. Receives Admissions materials.
Family returns application form, with $50 processing fee, and Parent Questionnaire.
School schedules a tour for you and an interview with a school representative.
The school will schedule:
- A special session with the kindergarten teacher for kindergarten applicants, or
- A two-day visit for your child in the class that is closest to his/her age and grade level.
You and school representatives will meet to review your child's visit.
When your student is accepted, you will be asked to complete and return all paperwork in the enrollment packet:
- Enrollment Contract (2 copies)
- Registration Form
- Medical Information Form
- Medical Information Card
- Textbook Loan Form
- Grandparent Information
- Field Trip Permission Form
- Early Dismissal and Emergency Contact Form
- Photo/Video Release Form Fundraising Sign-up Sheet
Please note that payment of the deposit as described in the enrollment contract assures the placement of the child at Greenwood Friends School.
