Didgeridoos are Australian Aboriginal wind instruments traditionally made from a part of a tree hollowed out by termites.  In some parts of the Outback, they are believed to help summon beings for great spiritual work.

Now, growing up in eastern Pennsylvania, it was a bit hard finding tree parts hollowed by termites, especially the kind used to make Didgeridoos.  Instead I have opted to make these instruments from PVC pipe and beeswax, gleefully decorated with paint, strings, beads, feathers, and other little goodies.  One can still get the deep resonating "wonk" sounds out of them.

All of my didgeridoos are made to order.  You determine the length, painted designs, if you want beads and feathers.   I can even add a special message in writing on the didge itself if you are giving it as a present to anyone.

The carrying bags are all handmade to fit the didge ordered.  Inquiries can be made regarding the style of materials used.

All prices are subject to negotiation.  Some fabrics for the carrying bags and some beads and feathers cost more than others but I can get you a reasonable estimate ASAP.  :)

(for questions on how to play a didgeridoo.. Please feel free to email me :)  )
