Pre-Raphaelite Beauty Tips
A collection of ideas and recipes to achieve the wistful, fey quality captured by the Pre-Raphaelite artists
.

Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse
(for radiant shine and masses of curls)
After shampooing, rinse hair with a mixture of 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar to 2 cups cool water. Follow with a small amount of leave-in conditioner.  (I like Amlika by the Body Shop.)
For added highlights - add a brewed cup of chamomile tea for blonde hair or elderberry tea for red hair. You may also substitute red wine vinegar for the cider vinegar for red highlights.

Oatmeal Mint Facial Scrub
Process small amounts of rolled oats and mint leaves in a coffee grinder. Use straight or mix with a little of your regular face cleanser for a refreshing scrub that will leave your skin glowing. This scrub can also be mixed with plain yogurt and applied as a facial mask. Or, try combining other dried herbs, such as camomile, calendula petals, lavender and rose petals to the oatmeal for pleasant variations.

And perhaps the greatest beauty tip I can impart:  What you believe in your heart will be reflected in your eyes and the thoughts you dwell on will be reflected in your face. If your heart is full of love and your thoughts embody kindness, your beauty will be of the otherworldly kind that is not subject to time but is truly immortal.
Blessed Be
