One of the things I enjoy in addition to writing books is appearing at schools. Although my picture books are geared for the lower grades, I have tailored my presentations to all grade levels.

When I go to a school I usually do three sessions breaking the groups up by age. I do a slide show so the images have a strong impact on all children. In addition to reading a story, I talk about the process I go through in writing and illustrating books. I also do an entertaining sketch demonstration in which all children can participate.

With lots of humor, visual aides, and props, I convey the magic and joy of writing and illustrating children's books. Ask about multiple school discounts.
