Comments: Great web site! I recently have been searching for sites of ships my father's been assigned to, but never found this one till now. By chance! scrolling through navring listings. My father, Charles H. Flick, boatswains mate, was on the Aldebaran sometime before the war through sometime in 1942. I'd be very interested in hearing from anyone that knew him, or of him then. He was in the Navy 1935-1966 and had about 20 different assignments, from pt boats to the battleship Arizona.

Comments: Yours is a great site. The graphics and look of the site is excellent and it tells the story of the Aldebaran well. My dad was a Pharmacist's Mate in WWII. He was an independent duty Corpsman aboard the destroyer USS Rogers. I'll have to add a page on his service on my site.
