Browse votes by member, or by topics such as party, state, region, "boomer status," gender, missed votes, and astrological sign; and for specific types of votes, such as impeachments, nominations, and treaties. It's a Washington Post.com site.

• TRAC Immigration data Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse is a data gathering, data research and data distribution organization associated with Syracuse University. It offers reports and analysis of how the government is performing in this area.

• Find Your Legislator Search for representatives and senators by zip code or county. Entries contain contact information and a brief bio.
• PA Contract e-Library Located on the state Treasury webpage, the e-Library link opens to a list of links, including one for the search of public contracts. I purposely stopped here because there are Help and FAQ links which could assist you in searching; scroll down the page. Contracts can be searched by agency, keyword, vendor, date or cost.
• 50 State Bluebook Guide Directories of state government for most states.
• Governor's Center for Local Government Services This looks useful from Garry Lenton. Contains zip code to municipality converter, 2005 tax rates for county, municipal and school district.
• Directory of U.S. Lobbyists Organized by subject groups and searchable.
• PA PowerPort Pennsylvania government home page.
• Electronic Bill Room for the Pennsylvania General Assembly Search the text of bills and resolutions for the state
• Pennsylvania Manual I thought it was worth posting this because Deb Kiner wrote that it loads quickly. It might be more convenient for some of you to use, although we also have the hard copy of it. The year for it is 2005, but that's the current available publication. We are still waiting for the next edition to be published. You will need Adobe to read it, but they give an Adobe download link on the site, if you need it.
