Twin Bridges Cache
South Abington Park

That such a sweet little park should exist at all, tucked into a maze of superhighways and suburban commerce, is amazing. This one is a true gem of the community which clearly worked hard to get it done. I imagine that their success is celebrated in countless parties, one of which was in preparation as I arrived.

Definitely my kind of park!

The Twin Bridges?

Oh! THOSE bridges! Yes... Much better!

Along this tree-canopied path, you can find all sorts of oddities...
The knee bone connected to the thigh bone...

...and a native having lunch.

You can, if you like, continue on down the path,

or...

You can take a little rest. After all, figuring out that stage one puzzle was strenuous!

But do not fail to notice all the fine details you will see along your way...

These are Amber's Courts, and for a very good reason. One of the very nice things about this park are the memorials to young men and women who have been the pride of their community. And with this park, they will never be forgotten. It is especially nice that these memorials celebrate rather than mourn.

Something for everyone... a quiet place to read with a friend, a copse of trees to break the heat...

And very special trees they are! Medals with numbers!

A slightly more unmanicured path...

Leads to the prize - a delightful cache!

And your choice of dilectable looking berries - orange or cherry?

And a beautuful flower that speaks for herself.
But watch out for the rebels coming over that ridge!

Before you go...

Press that red button. Go ahead... you know you want to!

And have your choice! It's an all-inclusive park!

And revel in life's parties!

With thanks to Zhanna and Aaron, for a delightful cache hunt and the discovery of a jewel among the superhighways!
