For openers,
you have to get around all the security folks that were guarding
the Hall and Oates sound check at the amphitheater. I'm told there
were more security folks there for the concert than paid attendees.
Ah, well. In some ways, it was the most challenging part of the
hunt! |
But the trail foretold a pleasant walk..

| With woods both dark and light. |
And creatures great and small. Well,
... small and smaller. |

And the oddities one often comes across in the
woods, including a place or two that would make good cache locations
(except that one might disturb someone's home).
| And at the top, one is rewarded for
a long climb... |
by enchanted places...
And A Rock
with a View! |

And, of course, a nicely hidden cache (to put it
mildly!). |
| On the way down, I chose to be particularly
daring and left the trail, which had the benfit of allowing me to
experience these wonderful woods more intimately, as did, no doubt,
the folks who built this modest tree house. |
| And allowed me to rejoin the festivities
at WVIA Family Day at Montage Mountain without having been missed! |
With thanks to Spider and renagadejane for yet another
wonderful cache hunt!
