Paul-Mart: Watch out for Falling Water

Rickett's Glen Down Below

This one has been on my list a while, and since the day promised to be frigid, I didn't want to go too far afield. It didn't look like a long walk, judging from the location. For added insurance, I took along Cachier, who had found it while I was tramping around Vermont. He wasn't much help, but then of course, he wasn't supposed to be - and he was good company.

If you've never been to the part of Rickett's Glen that lies south of the highway - I highly recommend it. Very nice falls, and some of the biggest trees I've seen around here. A very nice spot.

See what I mean?

That would be Cachier on the left, and I'm the dork holding up the tree.

Yes, those are icicles.

Running water through the woods - even on a frigid day - is nice.

With thanks to PSUPaul (et al) for his fine cache.

Back to geocache list.
