Nope, that's not two Suns you see... It's the same Sun
at opposite ends of a 360° panoramic picture of where I went after
an all-day management retreat to solve all the problems of the World.
Solving all the problems of the World can be stressful, but I came prepared,
just in case we got done early enough for me to go out and find
this cache on a mountain above Glen Summit.
| Why don't we just start with the flowers
this time instead of ending with them? I didn't have too
much time before sunset, so I was moving right along. Still, you
always need to take time to smell, er... take pictures of, the flowers. |

These little guys were
about the size of a dime. |
 |
 |
 |
| Yes, it's a long way up. About three
miles, according to the trip log on my trusty GPS. |
 |
 |
| But there are plenty of nice things
to see along the way, and some scary sounds coming from the undergrowth
on either side of the trail! |
 |
Yes, there really is a Blue Bear at the top of
this mountain. I don't know why he's there, but I was glad to
see him. So was my GPS which, although you can't see it in the
picture, insisted it was 2.5 feet away from that bear. The daisies
are a nice touch, yes?
Here is what he overlooks...
|
|
|
| That little puff on the horizon is the Berwick
PPL plant. But I'd better get going. I've got a three-mile walk
before it gets dark. And I do not want to go down that trail
in the dark! |
 |
OK, here we go... |

But I better hurry... |
 |
I'll bet that's
a fine sunset from up there on top... |
| But I'm glad
I'm seeing it from here! |
|
|
|
| With thanks to Tin Man and Renegadejane for a diabollically
clever cache hunt! |
