Free Astrology Programs
to Download

Not everyone can afford to purchase a quality astrology program. But most people are ultimately dissatisfied with the on-line applications such as astro.com, unless one wants them to do the interpretations for you. Would be astrologers who want to actually learn astrology and not have others do the interpretations for them, and then call it their own, usually need their own application on their own computer.


The following are the sites where you can download quality applications. I still use Allen Edwall's programs, particularly the electional astrology one, also good for rectification. Astrolog was before Edwall the prime site, and what I used for years. The others I haven't checked lately(I use the full version of the Halloran program.) Of all the available free ones, in my opinion, probably Halloran is the most accurate. John Halloran is a perfectionist about accuracy of his numbers.

These program all all for the PC. If you us a mac, you are limited to really only one quality program, and its commercial: Time Cycles.

But Time Cycles is so very expensive, you can actually purchase a copy of Virtual PC to run Windows(95, 98, ME, or others) in a window on your mac, buy a full version of John Halloran’s AstroDeluxe For Windows(version 6.1), and still have cash left over, from what you would if you bought the same bells and whistles Time Cycles program for the mac.
