THE SEVEN ASTROLOGY QUOTIENTS

The astrology of humans(meaning how astrology has meaning and impact for humans as opposed to using it for animals or the lower levels of consciousness such as plants or rocks) is not determined in the details but in the big picture. It develops according to the impact that the environment has on the individual, and the impact that the individual has on the environment.

This means that one may not be able to get a perception of the true meaning of astrology through the details of either the Fourth Stage Astrology evolution or the Fifth Stage Astrology evolution. One represents of determinism of Classical Astrology, and the other the one degree of uncertainty of Psychological Astrology.

The true sense of self has to come from a development of the interactions of both evolutionary stages. Zarathu Total Immersion Astrology© straddles the fence between both evolutionary stages. On one side it deals with the events of change that impact people, and the planet, and on the other side of the fence, with with what the reaction of people will be.

This is understood through SEVEN broad psychological interaction patterns of human beings.

They are called quotients, referring to the mathematical nature of reality ITSELF. But even more, Zarathu Total Immersion Astrology brings a clear designation of the continual return each spot a higher spot on the spiral.

They are as follows:

1. THE CHANGE QUOTIENT: how the individual is able to deal with changes internally and externally, and involves the Sun and the Sun/Moon Blend. The Moon, its latitude and declination, its interactions before and after birth, its horary status, etc, and then secondarily its interactions with Uranus of unusual change, and Pluto of confounding unexplainable change.

The change quotient is the prime minister of the package, since all the rest are dependent on one's ability to handle change and interact with it. Every other Quotient constantly refers back to the Change Quotient.

2. THE CREATIVITY/ILLUSION QUOTIENT: This is a measure of diffused decepted cognition. In this quotient the inability of the individual to cut through the rose colored glasses and determine the true issues is determined. People with a difficult Quotient here get continually whipped by their inaccurate perceptions of reality. Neptune and Dark Moon Lilith, as well as high latitude Moon and wildly out of bound planets especially Neptune, Venus, and Jupiter are involved.

3. THE ENERGY QUOTIENT: Our abilities to manifest self is largely dependent on the energies that our chart provides to accomplish things. Mars is clearly implicated here, as well as Mars relationship to Saturn, since energy is also dependent on the ability focus it. The impact of the the Change Quotient is especially important here.

4. THE LIMITATION QUOTIENT: To every life some rain must fall. True self is dependent on how much rain will fall and involves placement of the traditional Malefics, especially Saturn as well as malefic fixed stars, various negative Arabian points, etc.

5. THE GROWTH QUOTIENT: how the individual learns to deal with all those issues which provide unlimited growth and good things that happen, which most interacts with Jupiter, and Venus, and fortunate arabic point placements related benefic influences, etc..

6. The COGNITION QUOTIENT: I hesitate to call this the intelligence quotient, but there are some clear elements here. COGNITION is clearly the quotient that determines the ability of the native to plan, to think about what they must do, and to logically follow where they must go without being blown willy-nilly back and forth by the winds of the Change Quotient. A sense of self is largely dependent on how much you follow the wind and how much you are willing to stand up and take a position in the wind, etc.. Mercury is heavily involved.

Each one of these is the development of personality, and the interaction of all five produces the true sense of self.

7. THE TIME QUOTIENT: No conception of astrology can be real without involving the whole meaning of astrology itself. Astrology is really the study of time as it impacts existence. Each of the above quotients are snapshots of a moment in time, but only a moment. Moments change and people change. The time quotient is the recognition that each of the above quotients are not simply particles but also waves, as light is both a particle and a wave at the same time. Any understanding of the quotients must look not only at the natal event but on the current moment as it unfolds through the progressed chart as seen in transits, solar arcs, and progressions.

THE TIME QUOTIENT draws from an unlikely source. Its directly from the most focused deterministic classical classical astrology: The Question in Horary Astrology. And it hearkens back in Zarathu Total Immersion Astrology to the MOON itself, the progenitor of the 1st Quotient: CHANGE.

In the question in Horary Astrology, one looks at a moment in time, but much more. To determine what the answer is one must look at all the applying aspects that the Moon makes until it leaves the sign of the question.

A birth of human being engenders ONE PERPETUAL QUESTION. It is the question the parents and eventually the person him or herself asks: What will happen in this life? As a consequence, Zarathu Total Immersion Astrology, takes that one final step with every chart determination and asks the ONE PERPETUAL QUESTION.

More than even the conceptualization of astrology in the Six Quotients before it, THE TIME QUOTIENT brings more than a birth moment, and takes astrology that one step further, and brings it back to it beginning. It is what it must be, the Circle of Life.
