The Secret Life Of Fixed Signs

The Fixed Signs Have a Secret Life?

What is it?

In a word: MONEY!!

Ok.......moving on.

Oh, you want me to elaborate? Alright. There is more than that, of course.

Ok. Which are the fixed signs? Of course, Taurus-Leo-Scorpio-Aquarius.

Because they are fixed signs, they can hold debt. Their natural sign houses are Succeedent(2nd house type relationships) which regard stuff such as money, obligations, debts, and thus payments or punishments. Rex Bills(a good friend of all modern astrologers)lists payees as ruled by Venus(which rules Taurus), money as 2nd house, Taurus, Scorpio, etc. You get the idea.

Those in fixed signs have a greater tendency(if they remain true to fixed sign points) to discharging financial responsibility in a continuous way, and avoiding penalties, unlike the Mutables which are more likely to run up a bill, or Cardinals who pay cash.

Taurus pays most promptly; Scorpio often needs to be reminded a bit; Aquarius pays when the money comes it(not using it for something it should be used for.)

What is hidden in the fixed signs is their proclivity to combine their middle degrees(10-20, of the sign--not of the house its in) and their solstice points with the square aspect(OBSTACLES). In the fixed signs, any planet in the middle degrees is always square to its own solstice point. This takes an ordinary square out of it normal events, and CAUSES A CONNECTION TO BEING REGISTERED FINANCIALLY. The obstacles, burdens, obligations, disappointments, debts, typical of the SQUARE in combination with Fixed Signs, their middle degrees, and their solstice points affects MONEY and Finances. Either of two scenarios are representative: OBEY & PAY, or DON’T PAY & GET PUNISHED.

Using derivative house structures, each house has its 4th house, or the house of the end of the matter. Second house and Taurus rules finances that we own and steady investments. What we OWE is ruled by the 8th house and Scorpio. While both of these houses and signs are part of the financial picture that we look to(and of special importance in national ingress charts), they can be especially damaging because of several other constituents in their signs. Caput Algol is at 26Tau10, as well as the Pleiades at 29 Taurus, giving one something to weep about. And while, it runs into heresay, Charubel calls the 19th degree of Scorpio as the “cursed degree of the cursed sign, whose malefic influence never weakens”.

These can be activated by solstice points. For example, a progressed Venus, in 26 degrees of Scorpio opposite 26 degrees of Taurus: any progression applying to 5, 6, 7 degrees of Aquarius, will have its solstice point on Venus activating her in an opposition so that one could “lose one’s head” in extravagance of some kind.

Now remember, this is something you look at. Extravagance here will show up somewhere else if its to be considered true. A relationship involving money here in this way will show up negatively somewhere else too if its to be considered true. Without that, its only a teaser of possibility.

So......when we see a progression in the middle degrees of any fixed sign we look immediately for any other progressed planet that might square another fixed signs, because the square will be much more effective, and probably involving financial obstacles or disappointments of some kind. We call this a SOLSTICE SQUARE.
We do the same thing in a natal chart by looking forward for a progressing planet coming to square.

Malefic fixed stars as well as the placement of Dark Moon Lilith can be suggestions for financial obstacles in the offing.

The 5th house and Leo rules speculations involving finance, gambling, taking chances, the stock market. This is also seen derivatively in that the 5th is the 4th end of the second house. The end of the matter for the 5th house is the 8th house, which rules the result: bankruptcy.
So......a progression in Taurus or Leo squaring a planet in the middle degrees of Leo or Taurus could stimulate unwise spendthrifting because it is a financial square, emphasized by being a Solstice Square.

You can figure out the rest for the 8th house and the 11th house.
