You may be wondering where my old Windows page went. In answer to your implied question, it moved on to the Internet-in-the-sky. Since I made that page, much has changed. The Internet has proven to be the "killer-app" that made operating systems largely irrelevant. Any computer that can access the Internet, be it Windows, Mac, Linux, or anything else, has access to largely the same information.

The best operating system is the one that works for you. They all have their relative strengths and weaknesses. There is no perfect operating system; everything is a trade-off. So do the research, pick your favorite, and put it to use. We've got more important things to worry about; let's move on.
