The Big Tax Hike was voted in 12/9/99
The township property tax of 1/2 mil was doubled to 1 mil at the 12/9/99 meeting. This was done over the protest of many residents present at the meeting. One woman complained, "Why aren't they listening to the people?" We'll the truth is they listened last November when you voted one incumbent out and me in. You will have a chance for them to listen again in November of 2001. In the meantime please remain involved.
