Me as a kid on Dutch Mountain

Here I am at Kester's house and Gulf station in the mid 1950s. The classic Ford was still delivering mail on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Lopez. We bought ice cream and soda at Kester's little store and carried them down to Harry Moore's cabin.

Here I am in the mid 1950s in Moore's Field (now owned by Frank and Eileen Monachino). The left side of the field has long since been taken over by huckleberries, but the right side of the field has been cleared again and plowed and planted and is looking great again.
