More about
Little Boo Peke
Her coat grew out, and she was quite beautiful and elegant, a far cry from the little waif who first came to us. These Fall, 1999 photos are the proof.

Although everyone else in the family got *very*
cold outside, with her thick fur coat,
Boo thought it was just the greatest!

March 3, 2006 Our sweet little Boo went to the Rainbow Bridge. We never thought she would be with us this long, and we are grateful for every wonderful moment she shared with us. I strongly encourage everyone to consider adopting an older dog...even a senior dog. The time may be shorter than with a young dog, but it is so rich that you will never be sorry. Many kind hearted people have dogs who are blind. Fortunately, animals adapt more easily than humans...they rely so much on smell and hearing. I would adopt another blind dog in a minute!
If you have a blind dog, you may be interested in joining the Yahoo Group for owners of blind dogs. Go to <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/blinddogs/> to sign up.
We miss you, Boo. I know you are young and beautiful again, and are with your Daddy and Gretchen.
