Welcome to Mr. Kunz's
PHYSICS & CHEMISTRY PAGES
for the week of November 5 through November 9, 2007
Advanced Physics Students, do not miss the make up test on Tuesday. It is the ONLY
opportunity to do so because its the end of the marking period. Test security is impossible
if you miss, and I will be forced to simply grade the test I dropped for everyone else if you fail to
come to class Tuesday.
MAKE-UP WORK POLICY is simple. The responsibility is placed 100% squarely on the student's shoulders.
If you have a field trip on the day I stay late, report to the classroom upon returning from the field trip to make up the lab or test you missed. This is NOT your day off. If you don't believe me, look on your Field Trip Permission Slip.
Please schedule doctor's appointments on days when we don't have labs or tests as makeups have been made very difficult, if not impossible, by the construction situation. The construction situation is
NOT your "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE" card for missing tests, labs, etc. You WILL be held accountable, and you will NOT be allowed to make stuff up at your liesure once tests and labs have been handed back graded to the rest of the class.
EXTRA HELP IS AVAILABLE at the following times and in the following places:
- Period 6 in the Lobby when I have Reception Duty. You may not come for help at the expense of missing another teacher's class without their permission. Cuts will be enforced.
- Period 8 in the Chemistry Office
- Every Tuesday after school in Chemistry office until 3:30. Have questions ready from practiced material as I will have students there from several
classes, and they will be prepared.
- Because of labs and the contruction situation, no science classrooms are ever unoccupied, and the labs are simply notavailable during lunch periods
.
- I prepare for classes in the morning before school starts. Appointments must be scheduled in advance, and you must show solid evidence of having worked, this is not a re-lecture free access time to insert knowledge into short-term memory just before a test.
