Model Trains International My favorite magazine of model railroading. Published in the UK, but with an international flavor.
Emphasis on layouts for small spaces.

Micro Layouts for Model Railroads. An amazing web site showcasing layouts in small spaces. Some really great work.

Irwin’s Journal George Irwin’s web site. If you are interested in Micro-Trains products, this is the “Un-official” source of all the latest and accurate information. His FREE newsletter is a must for anyone who uses MT products or collects them. I wish H-O scale had a similar resource.

Pubs

Flaherty's Drinking Establishment Good Bar and Restaurant in Kingston, PA. Kitchen's open to 1:00 a.m.! Guinness and Yeungling Lager on tap, as well as some lesser beers.

Banshee Pub A great pub in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Weekly entertainment, great atmosphere, and terrific brew selection. Though I don’t know why they need taps for anything more than Guinness and Harp.

Shandy Gaff A good bar in State College, PA. Great place to go after the game or to watch the game. Small cover charge to keep the riff-raff out. Usually have a DJ. This place gets packed after a home game.

Penn State University A great school with an impressive and extensive web site. It’s huge!
