Taken at Canyon Lands near Moab Utah in October 1999.

Hello, I am Dave Truskowsky. This is the only place I get to talk about myself so here goes. I am a 1992 Graduate of Marian Catholic High School. A couple of weeks after I graduated I went to Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri for basic training. Then I lived at Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland where I learned to be a Machinest. I was at Aberdeen until December of 1992. In December of 1995, I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Science. I then went to Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science in Syracuse, New York for a year. I graduated with a degree in Mortuary Science in August of 1996 and won the Restorative art award. I am now a licensed funeral director at My Family Owned business in Mahanoy City, Pa.

My family has a home in Brandonville, Pa. It is on 43 acres of wooded land. I still live at home. I do have a sister Lisa. She is now married to Patrick Sanphy and lives in Pennsylvania near Elmira New York. I enjoy flying up to see then once in a while.

In November of 1997, I became a Licensed Private Pilot. I joined the Parlor City Flying Club in Bloomsburg, Pa. This makes me a partial owner of 3 airplanes. Ok Ok so maybe I own 1/60 th of 3 airplanes. As a private pilot, I can fly passengers day or night, but only during good weather. I have flown to many locations so far. Some of my frequent trips are to Elmira NY, Rochester NY, Ocean City MD, and Bar Harbor Maine. Hope to fly to Martha's Vineyard soon.

I am an assistant engineer at the West End Fire and Rescue in Mahanoy City, Pa and an Assistant Chief of the Shenandoah Emergency Medical Services and Advanced Life Support were am Public Information Officer and Safety and Training Coordinator. I also help with the scheduling of EMT's as well as other things. I enjoy fighting fires and helping people. I also work part time in the evenings at Penn State University in Hazleton as a EMT and I teach the Emergency Response course.

I always wanted an Ultralight Airplane. When I was a kid I loved finding out all I could about these small versatile airplanes. Now I have one. It wieghs 250 pounds, had a 35 horse power cuyuna engine. I don't need a license to fly this although I have one anyway (can't be too safe). Here are 2 pictures of it. There is nothing better then skimming treetops and having the wind in my face as I fly through warm summer air. I just wish it had 2 seats.
