Est. of Louis Round Stone, Probate Case, Lame Deer, Montana.
His first wife was married to Frost or Frog (?). She had a son named Robert Burns, in Okla., and a Chief Clerk at the Indian Agency. Her second husband was Packs the Badger, a Sioux. Her 3rd husband was Two Moons and no children out of this marriage.
4th husband of Frost or Frog was Braided Locks, and had no issue.
First wife lived with Louis rest of life.
2nd wife Maracoosa (not long apparently) 1 child. Maracoosa was first married to Bob Tail Horse before Louis and they had one child named Thaddeus Red Water.
3rd wife was Burns Woman, she was first married to Crazy Head, then to Hides Cloud, no child, then married Round Stone and seperated from him.
Round Stone and Sharp Nose daug. named Sarah Waters and over 40 years old says her father married 7 times. (1) Sharp Nose; (2) Maracoosa; (3) Burns Woman; (4) Sally Stands Out; (5) Mary Looks Around; (6) Carrie Bearclaw; (7) Mrs. White Bird. Married 53 years ago to Sharp Nose. Their oldest child 2 years old at the time of the Custer fight in 1876. Lived with Sharp Nose until death.

Est. of Little Wolf, 75 years old, born 1851, Busby, Montana, (Northern Cheyenne). Raised together with Louis Round Stone, Life long friends.
Louis Round Stone had three wives: (1) Sharp Nose, dead, had 5 children. They were: (1) Mrs. King Fisher; (2) Boy died in South Dakota when he was 6; (3) Fred Round Stone; (4) Infant that died; (5) Sarah (?) Southern Cheyenne and over 40.
2nd Wife was Maracoosa.
3rd Wife was Burns Woman.

W.A.Jones, Commissioner, to James C. Clifford, U.S. Indian Agent, Tongue River Agency, Montana, Feb. 20th, 1902.
Reports five Cheyennes still at Res.
Stouch replied all allotted at C&A Agency but left before he assumed charge.
John Squint Eye married to Northern Cheyenne woman and makes home with her but informed some Indians he intends to return to his former home.
Bull Ribs (woman) and daughter of Sharp Nose Woman, married to a Northern cheyenne man and lives with him.
David Big Man married to Northern Cheyenne woman but returned to Cheyenne and Arapaho Res.
Sharp Nose Woman married to Round Stone a Northern Cheyenne and lives with him.
Grave Woman unmarried.
Stouch has no objections to them returning to the C&A Agency.
For the women it might be a hardship to have them returned.
Strike names from the Tongue River rolls.
Grave Woman has ponies and when the grass grows for forage she and Squint Eye might return. They do not intend to evoke a hardship.
