Charles Antoine is in Naper, Nebraska, working, he
are Indians near where he is, "as wild as ever." He does not
have much good to say of the young men around there, many of whom
are drunkards who are trying to pull him down. He feels now,
that he left Carlisle too soon and grieves over the lost
opportunity to learn more.
