Kickstand Fabrication and Installation - part 2

The kickstand in it's down position. Visions of carrier landings or banner towing at flyins come to mind....

The same in the retracted position. Not as pretty or as clean aerodynamically as Chick Torbetts, but maybe not too much difference at Challenger speeds.

The control in the cockpit is one of the unused throttle levers from my kit since I installed a quadrant for throttle and choke. It's located below the pilots seat on the right side.

Another view of the actuating lever. Yeah, that's a glideslope antenna under the front seat. Go outside right now and face in the direction of Wisconson. You can hear Don Zank going ACH! ACH! ACH! I bet.
