The ELT 'A' is mounted on an 1/8" aluminum plate secured to downtubes fore and aft. The rear angle is also riveted to the firewall ahead of the engine for additional security. The fixed antenna is mounted to a bracket riveted to the crosstube behind the fuel tank at 'B'. It's secured to the side of the ELT mounting plate with an adel clamp to keep it from whipping. |
