Hi, my name is Doug Jenkins and I hope you enjoy this site. Just a little about myself to start. I graduated from Penn State university with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. I enjoy mathematics and working with computers. I really enjoy writing computer games. My first and biggest attempt at creating a good quality game is a strategy game called warzone. This is a turn based space-war game. The object is similar to many space games, that is to conquer the galaxy starting with just one planet and a small fleet. Please give it a try. Go ahead and download the shareware version of WARZONE (275k zipped).

If you tried WARZONE then you have probably realized that I am a big science fiction fan.
Yes, I love STAR TREK, escpecially The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation. The last two versions of the Star Trek universe just don't do it for me - they seem to be missing something (maybe it's something special that Gene Roddenberry brought to the series). My favorite episode of the original series is Arena - I wish I had that Gorn costume for halloween. My favorite Next Generation episode is Yesterday's Enterprise - how can you beat a show that has two Enterprises fighting together against Klingon warships in an alternate timeline!

If you are tired of the same old TV shows, take a look at some of this entertaining shows: Mister Ed , Gunsmoke , and Wishbone.

I also enjoy reading science fiction and murder mysteries. Among my favorite authors of mystery novels is the well known Agatha Christie. In my opinion, one of her best stories involving the Belgian, Hercule Poirot, is A.B.C. Murders. If it has been a while since you have read a good book, I urge you to read one. A good book can take you to places only you and your imagination can go and with that combination you can go everywhere!
