TIME TO DECK THE HALLS!  There is something special about a real tree – the beauty, the aroma, the traditions.  Real Trees are farm grown here in PA and are environmentally friendly.  This year, treat yourself and your family to a Real Christmas Tree.  Nothing says Christmas more than a Real Christmas Tree from Ecology III Christmas Tree Farm!

OUR DAYS AND HOURS

are the same as last year.  We will be open from 9:00 AM until dark every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning Thanksgiving, November 27, 2008.

FRASER FIR, DOUGLAS FIR, BLUE SPRUCE &

CONCOLOR FIR

We have the best selection of trees in all varieties.  It was a great growing season for the trees in 2008.  This year you will find Fraser Fir and Douglas Fir up to 12 feet and beautiful!  We have Blue Spruce and Concolor Fir up to 7 feet.

Another wonderful growing year has produced lots of trees for you to choose from.

We will also have a section of first quality, premium fresh-cut trees at our regular Choose & Cut prices.

TREE PRICES.

Tree prices, both choose & cut and fresh pre-cut, will be the same this year as they have been for the past two years.  Prices are on our web site at www.ecology3.com

GO GREEN!

Real trees preserve green space; they support life by absorbing carbon dioxide and other gasses and emitting fresh oxygen; they are renewable (for every tree harvested growers plant 1 to 3 new seedlings); and can be recycled for mulch and wildlife habitat.  Real trees are the superior choice to use as the centerpiece for your Christmas decorating!

CHARLIE BROWN & LUCY TREES!

We will again have our popular “Charlie Brown” pre-cut section with little trees priced as low as $5.00.  This year, we will have a new “Lucy” section.  We all know Lucy is more particular than Charlie and she is always looking for a bargain.  Bargains are what you’ll find in our “Lucy” section, with  fresh pre-cut trees from

5 to 7 feet at reduced prices starting at $15.00.  So whatever your budget, everyone can have a real tree for Christmas this year!

WREATHS, SWAGS AND

CEMETERY ITEMS

Our wreath makers will be busy soon cutting fresh fragrant greens and turning them into beautiful decorations for your home. We’ll have a large selection of wreaths, swags, and roping, along with many different cemetery items.

NEW FRASER FIR

SECTION OPENED

Santa is busy cutting grass in our new Fraser Fir section.  You won’t have any problem selecting a tree in this section of 7 to 8 foot Fraser Firs.

“TREES FOR TROOPS”

Again this year we are donating trees to the “Trees for Troops” program sponsored by the National Christmas Tree Association and FedEx.  In 2007, Trees for Troops delivered nearly 17,000 trees to 37 military bases in seven different countries, including Iraq!  One military wife wrote:  “I just wanted to say thank you to all who support the Trees for Troops program.  We haven’t had a live tree in 12 years and I had forgotten how wonderful they are.  The tree is beautiful and smells so good.  Thank you for your support and your appreciation – it means a lot to us.”  You can read other messages from the military on the National Christmas Tree website at RealChristmasTrees.org.

REAL VS. FAKE

The debate goes on:  Is it better for the environment to use a real tree or an artificial tree?  The National Christmas Tree Growers website has this factual comparison of real vs. fake trees
