Directory of Scratch's Random Thoughts

Over the years, I have developed the habit of writing down my thoughts on a wide variety of topics. Throughout a given year I keep a document of these thoughts, which I "close" at the end of the year, only to begin a new document for the new year. This is the Online Archive of Scratch's Random Thoughts, which are open source and royalty-free... or, as Tom Bombadil said, "free to all finders, birds, beasts, Elves or Men, and all kindly creatures", so that these thoughts may spread throughout the aether of cyberspace.

For those of you who came here from Dedrell Studios, I am Scratch, the owner and proprietor of Dedrell Studios. To paraphrase a wizard whom I admire greatly, "Many are my names in many realms. Scratch in Fandom, Graffico DeDrell in the SCA, Thunderchicken on the road, Teech in the Islands, Bill in the 7-day world, Dedrell Studios in business, William H. Bacharach the artist. Into pessimism, I go not."
