I am married,owner of Thompson's Computer Center.Born in Bay Shore L.I.,NY. I was raised in Levittown,Pa. Moved to Wellsboro,Pa in 1986. Because I hated the city and wanted a more peaceful existance. I have 3 grown stepchildren  Anthony ,Laura and Michael.

Things I Like to Do

  1. Play Chess: I belong to US Chess Federation. Hold an Expert Rating of 2026. Also have been a Nationally Certified Senior Tournament Directer for over 25 years. I also Play chess on the Internert Chess Club (My handle is Darvid) and US Chess Live

  1. People who back out of things or change their mind and then do not tell anyone

  2. People who Bad-mounth other people behind their backs

  3. People who Pre-Judge others without really knowing them

Best thing that Happend to me Last year.

  1. Going down to Ga to visit Laura and Anthony and

  2. Playing in my first tournament after several years

Goals for this Year

  1. Achieving a Masters Chess Rating

  2. Taking a Nice Vacation
