I am a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and New York. I earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1990. My training is in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (which focuses on recognizing and overcoming problems in relationships) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (which seeks to change negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors). Over the last 20 years I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities with adults and adolescents. I have been conducting individual and couples therapy (as well as psychological testing) in the Clarks Summit area since 1992. In addition to delivering psychological services in my private office, I am also a Professor of Psychology at Marywood University. Teaching undergraduate, master's and doctoral level courses helps me to stay abreast of new and important findings in the field. In addition to teaching, I have given numerous professional and public seminars on stress and time management, job burnout, relationship enhancement and other topics. I have published articles in the areas of clinical, health, and sport psychology. I am a member in good standing with several organizations. Some of my professional affiliations include the following:
