White Cane Day

Each October Lions Clubs throughout the world
solicit sidewalk donations from the public
in aid of those with eyesight impairments.
Money collected for this purpose remains with the
local club for use in benefit of those within
the club's service area.

Our club has traditionally used these funds to send
a blind camper to summer camp at the Lions'
specially designed facility, Beacon Lodge,
near Lewistown.

Lion Mike Harrison has chaired this event
for the past several years.
