  The James McCullough Award

Each year the club honors an outstanding student from among
local high schools.  The senior student must be a resident of
Forty Fort, and demonstrate scholarship,  as well as participation
in extra curricular activities and community service.

The award is named for former mayor James McCullough
who was an ardent proponent of community activism.

 
The McCullough Award Winner for 2009 is William McGuiness,
son of Bill and Jean McGuiness of Forty Fort. 
William is a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School.
He will attend Villanova University in the Fall.
