Several years ago our contributions to the
Lions Clubs International Foundation
for the benefit of the Sight First program
throughout the world
entitled our club to name a
Melvin Jones Fellow.
This fellowship is named after the
founder of Lions Clubs International
and, as such, is the most prestigious
attainment within the organization.
The Forty Fort Lions chose our
founder and first president,
Joe Atherholt
as our first recipient of
this esteemed honor.
