Occupational Therapy is the rehabilitation profession that focuses on the functional activities that occupy one's 24 hour day. When physical, developmental, social, or emotional deficits impairs one's functional performance, the occupational therapist works with the individual to rebuild or regain skill components necessary for optimal daily living.
