Here's what they're saying …..About the 2008 BASH

I'm too beat for a write up.
Even with the rain, that was a great time! Had a great time camping with Dewy, Chris, and Matt!
Some highlights:
- Rain, rain, rain on friday. Oh well, camping is fun too!
- Sunshine on saturday! Yay! 6 hours in the saddle...um, guys, when does the trail go *down*??? Holy crap it was humid. Thank goodness for those staged jugs of water! My arms are still sore!
- Today, Rock's ridge. Slip-slidey fun in the rocks! Dewy was doing awesome! Me, not so much.
Looking forward to hitting those trails again ASAP!!!

Just wanted to thank everyone at RCST. What a great weekend. Even with the rain we still had a blast. Hopfully next year we can get some of the other YAMBA and CycleWorks team members to join us next year. Everything was well planed out and fun. The trail work RCST does sure pays off and you can see that in the trails. Great Job!
I forgot as a YAMBA member to post some of our flyers for our up coming Poker Run next weekend. Is there a way you could get the word out to your member? I have attached the file.

Another great year at the 2008 Bash, if you didn't have a great time it
was your own fault. Little rain to start off with on Friday but
Saturday and Sunday were beautiful. Rick, Jill and Keith great job
once again.

Many thanks for putting together such a great event. I was sorry I had
to get back to work on Saturday evening, so I couldn't stick around for Sunday's rides.
Next year, I'll be sure to be there for the whole thing!
If you all come out to Frederick and want to ride the Shed or Gambrill,
let me know. I live in downtown Frederick, just a few miles away from
all those great rocks:)

Thank you guys so much for another fantastic weekend of beer, bikes and hanging out w/fun folks! Once again, you guys went above and beyond in terms of organizing a great event! We all had a terrific time. Some of us more than others! Supposedly there is pictures out there somewhere! I had to tell all my friends that what happens at Camp Muckleratz stays at Camp Muckleratz! We all made it back to the 'burgh safe and sound, in one piece, in time to see the Steelers beat up on Cleveland.
We can't wait to come back out for the 10th annual BASH next year! I already have a new chili recipe swirling around in my head for next years event! Will it win? Time will tell!! LOL
You folks take a long rest, you deserve it! Thanks again from all your Pittsburgh friends,

If anyone had ridden the trails at all during the summer you know how grown in they were and the fallen trees here and there. And I'm sure you noticed how sweet they were for the BASH. I know RCST put alot of time and hard work in preping the trails and they did a great job. So I would like to give a big thanks to them and anyone else involved. THANKS

Thank you for organizing another fantastic BASH--we had a blast as always!! The hard work and dedication of your club is very much appreciated. We were able to increase Valley Mountain Bikers attendance from 6 to 14 this year, and they all loved the trail system, as well as getting to hang out and party with other mountain bikers. We made a lot of new friends in the Disco tent (and a few enemies the next morning, when they awoke with "Face Plant Punch" hangovers).
